Maustaja behind the tastes

Customer based business is the way Maustaja prefers to work with. Every product manufactured by us is planned and developed together with our customers.

As a result of this co-operation our customers are able to concentrate on product marketing and Maustaja takes care of everything else.

Maustaja operates today as an contract manufacturer partner for over 50 customer companies. Maustaja is the biggest manufacturer of ketchup in Finland and manufactures also over 50 % of mustard. Salad dressing product group has grown most strongly.

Maustaja offers to its customers that kind of receipt with which they can succeed in even the most hardest business competition.

Chain stores, wholesale trades, manufacturers of food industry and marketing companies are Maustaja’s customers. Furthermore, remarkable amount of our products are being used as components needed by food industry.

In addition to the domestic market products manufactured by Maustaja are exported for example to Sweden and Baltic Countries.

Company Maustaja was originally established to create work places to the wives of local timberwork men. This was a far-reaching decision.
